Overview
Uttarakhand, a state in northern India crossed by the Himalayas, is known for its Hindu pilgrimage sites. Rishikesh, a major Centre for yoga study, was made famous by the Beatles’ 1968 visit. The city hosts the evening Ganga Aarti, a spiritual gathering on the sacred Ganges River. The state’s forested Jim Corbett National Park shelters Bengal tigers and other native wildlife.
Itinerary
Pick up from Delhi (7 am) and transfer to Haridwar Evening Har Ki Pauri and Ganga
Aarti visit. Dinner and overnight stay at Haridwar.
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel. Transfer to Chopta. On the way
visit Devprayag & Rudraprayag. Check into the hotel in Chopta. Dinner and
overnight stay at Chopta.
Morning after breakfast visit Tungnath Chandrashila Trek (5 kms one way). Later
check out from the hotel. Transfer to Joshimath. Visit Joshimath (Shankaracharya
Math & Narsingh Temple). Check in to the hotel in auli chopta. Dinner and overnight
stay at auli chopta.
Morning after breakfast enjoy auli chopta. Enjoy nature walk, skiing & chair lift ride.
Dinner and overnight stay at auli chopta.
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel. Transfer to Rishikesh. On the way
visit Rudraprayag & Karnaprayag. Check in to the hotel in Rishikesh. Dinner and
overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. Visit Ram Jhula and Lakshman
Jhula in Rishikesh. Transfer to Delhi. Drop at Delhi.
