Overview

Guwahati is a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu. To the east, 18th-century Navagraha Temple is an astronomical center with planetary shrines. Umananda Temple, dedicated to Shiva and covered with engravings, stands on Peacock Island in the river.

Day 1 :

BAGDOGRA –GANGTOK.

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, transfers to Gangtok (114kms/4.5hrs), At an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes.Evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at hotel.

Day 2 :

TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR.

New Am starts for a day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400ft), which is only 32kms from Gangtok City, the lake is almost about 1Km long, oval in shape and 15 meters deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people, further 12Kms visit Baba Mandir dedicated to the memory of the soldier HarbhajanSingh. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity.

Day 3 :

GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING.

Morning start the Full day sightseeing in and around this capital city of Sikkim, covering Chortan( Stupa) Institute of Tibetology(Closed on Sunday), Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms (Closed on Sunday) and, RankaMonastery & Jhakri Waterfalls, Hanuman tok, Ganesh Tok, TashiView Point. Evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 :

GANGTOK TO PEMAYANGTSE

Morning transfer to Pemayangtse(123kms/6.5hrs). Pemayangtse Is a very small Himalayan village in West Sikkim. Pelling is the nearest motor-able point from Mt. Kanchendzonga, world's 03rd highest peak, offers a good sunrise and all day long view of Kanchendzonga and the entire EasternHimalayan range.

Day 5 :

PEMAYANGTSE LOCAL SIGHTSEEING & DARJEELING

After breakfast, start for half day sightseeing in and around Pemayangtse, covering Rimbi Falls, Sacred Khecheopalri Lake, Kanchendzonga Falls, PemayangtseMonastery –the 2nd oldest monastery of Sikkim.
Transfer to Darjeeling (128kms/5hrs). Once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater to you a mix of experience of lively nature & charming Himalayan people. It is the place of Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-Religion. Surrounded by Tea gardens, this little town faces some of the Himalayas highest peaks. Take rest and then walk around the town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 6 :

DARJEELING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING THREE POINTS & BEST POINTS.

Early morning starts for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery and BatashiaLoop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. Breakfast at the Hotel followed by half day local Best points sightseeing covering PadmajaN. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (Closed on Sunday), walk around visit to the Mall and Local Market (Closed on Thursday). Evening Free for shopping & individual activity, overnight at hotel.

Day 7 :

DARJEELING –BAGDOGRA

Morning Transfer to Bagdogra Airport (95kms/ 3hrs)
