Manali – Leh – Nubra – Pangong lake – Kargil – Srinagar – Jammu

Ladakh is a region administered by India as a union territory which constitutes a part of the larger Kashmir region and has been the subject of dispute between India, Pakistan, and China since 1947.

Day 1 :

Delhi – Manali

Meet and greet at Delhi Airport & proceed to Manali (12 - 13 hrs drive). Dinner at a
hotel. O/n Manali.

Day 2 :

Manali – Jispa

Today after breakfast leave for Jispa (5-6 hrs drive). En route Rohtang pass (13,050
ft), Confluence of Chandra and Bhaga rivers. Reach Jispa by evening and check into
the hotel. O/n Jispa.

Day 3 :

Jispa – Leh

After breakfast leave for Leh. En route Baralacha La Pass (16,020 ft), Nakeela Pass
at 15,547 ft & Lachulung La Pass at 16,617 ft, Pang - More Plains (biggest and
highest plateau on earth on stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass (One of the
highest motorable roads in the World at 17,585 ft). Reach Leh by evening and check
into the hotel. O/n Leh.

Day 4 :

Leh City Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for Leh city sightseeing which includes Hemis Monastery –
Oldest and richest monastery of Ladakh, Thiksey Monastery – Historic Buddhist
monastery on a Hill, Shey palace, Sindhu Ghat, Rancho School – subject to
permission, Hall of fame museum – Indian army operated memorial & museum,
Shanti stupa – Domed Buddhist temple on a hill, and Leh Palace – Centuries old
mountaintop palace. Evening explore Leh market. O/n Leh.

Day 5 :

Leh – Nubra Valley

After early breakfast leave for Nubra valley (5-6 hrs drive) via Khardungla pass @
18,380 ft (World’s highest motorable road). Reach Nubra valley by afternoon. Nubra
Valley offers tremendous scenery on a grand scale with green oasis villages
surrounded by thrillingly stark scree slopes and harsh arid mountains. You can enjoy

Two hump camel safari on the World’s highest coldest desert at your own expense.
O/n Nubra Valley.

Day 6 :

Nubra Valley – Leh

After breakfast proceed to Leh by the same route via Diskit – Future Buddha statue
& Khardungla pass. O/n Leh.

Day 7 :

Leh – Pangong Lake

After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass (17,350 ft -
world’s third highest motorable road). Pangong Lake is at an altitude of 14,500 ft and
is World’s highest and longest salt water lake. Enjoy changing colours of the Blue
brackish Lake. O/n Pangong Lake.

Day 8 :

: Pangong – Leh

After Breakfast, return back to Leh, on the way visit famous monasteries like Hemis,
Thiksey and Shay. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh hotel.

Day 9 :

Leh – Kargil

Today, leave for Kargil (9-10 hrs). En route Pathar sahib Gurudwara, Confluence of
Indus and Zanskar rivers, also visit Lamayuru Monastery & enjoy magnificent view of
“Moonland - An undulating series of mountains that resemble the surface of the
moon”, Magnetic Hill, Mulbek (1st Century Giant Buddha Sculpture on Rock
Mountains). Reach Kargil and check into the hotel. O/n Kargil.

Day 10 :

Kargil – Drass – Srinagar

Early morning leave for Srinagar. En-route have a magnificent view of Kargil war
Peaks, Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabited place in the World), Zojila Pass. Enjoy a
hot breakfast at Sonmarg. Reach Srinagar and check into the hotel. O/n Srinagar.

Day 11 :

Srinagar

Today after Breakfast, you can visit Mughal Garden, Shankracharya temple and
enjoy a shikara ride. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or houseboat.

Day 12 :

Srinagar to Jammu/Pathankot (8-10 hours)

After Breakfast, check out from the Hotel & you would be driven to Jammu or
Pathankot for a night stay.

Day 13 :

Jammu/Pathankot – Delhi (8-12 hours)

After Breakfast, check out from the Hotel & you would be driven to Delhi. Get your
drop at Delhi airport or rail station. Your tour concludes here.
